Silvery Lust

Now I've got everything I need for my brick built home I'm not allowed to spend any money for the next, oh I don't know, a hundred or so years.  Mortgage free is my goal for the year 2116!  But if I were flush I would be very tempted by this gorgeous silver creation that I found on Etsy with its brilliant quote from Tolkien. It's new on me as I'm not the Hobbity type.  This would be just the job for a woman with wanderlust who's just fallen deeply back in love with van life!

  1. Bloody marvellous I do love your blog lots of interesting stuff. This would suit me. I'm reading a book at the mo called sweet home anywhere about a couple who sold up and travelled etc. I have such itchy feet and want to go everywhere however I'm also very content at home. So yes I want to wander but don't feel lost either.

    1. I just learned about that book as well. A coworker bought it for a retirement book for another coworker and we had a good old conversation about life post work.

    2. I love my brick built home as well but I think the van might even clinch it for first place. It's something to remember when my boy has flown the nest xx

  2. You're posts from living in Klaus were some of my reading highlights. Don;t get me wrong, your house and location of it sound amazing, but when you wrote about literally moving your whole home with you for holiday, I thought that is truly a life I could embrace. It sounds like your tester weekend went well, and the fact that you are writing coherently meant you must found some good food to go with your beverage.

    1. Thanks for kind post Sam. There's a bit more organisation involved now it's not a case of unplugging the van and moving it to go on holiday. It's worth it though. And it's great to have the motorhome back in an uncluttered state. There's not so much stuff now that I don't live in him. xx
