Little Snowy Worlds

Snow in Torbay is as rare as rocking horse droppings and if I had the energy I'd haul my sorry ass outside and take some pictures for you.  But I'm cosied up indoors thank you very much.   So I thought that I'd go in search of other wintery inspiration.  And I've found an absolute corker.

If you are of the opinion that snow domes are tat personified let me show you something that I think might change your mind.  Go and have a look at the website of Walter Martin and Paloma Munoz..  There's no excuse not to do so.  I've included the link here.  They depict incredible  tableaux in those wee glass domes.   For me they have a dream-like quality. I had trouble picking out a couple to show you.  They are all beautiful.

  1. Keep safe today. We have been really hitvthis time and all schools, colleges and public transport are off. I’m going to have a sewing day at home instead of at my voluntary workshop. The snow domes are exquisite. Catriona

  2. You are in the "snow is so beaitiful" phase, which it is. Having it since December, with another month of horrible driving, melt, freeze, more snow, shovel repeat, and I'm about done. I love your inspiration photos.
