Synchronicity at Play

Sometimes, as my regular readers may have gathered, my crafting projects takes years to come to fruition.  My  kooky, but lovely friend, Reiki Ray, attributes the propensity to procrastinate to my Aries star sign.  Of course it has nothing to do with being busy, busy, busy.

This 1950's cabinet that I see from an old blog post that I bought in 2013 has been sitting around in my dining roon in an unloved state for a long time.  It needs TLC in the form of rebuilding and isn't just a paint job.  I think the enormity of the task has been putting me off.  But I've decided that tackling it will be my next crafting project.  So the other day I pulled it out to give it a bit of a once over to see what I needed to do.

After I'd fiddled about with the cabinet the clock on its front started up of its own accord.  The tick is ear splitting so I don't normally have it working.  It's a wind up one so I thought that jiggling the cupboard  must have set it off.  Nothing weird there.  But what was totally odd was that it started up at exactly the right time.  Coincidence or a sign?   The teachings that I follow tell me to look for synchronicity.  I wonder what it means!

  1. Spooky! I love the sound of a ticking clock, I find it soothing and relaxing. We had one of those cabinets, in lemon yellow, when I was a child. I reckon that clock is telling you that now is definitely the time to get on with the refurb!

  4. I love the cabinet. It is strange how these coincidental things happen in life. Sometimes I think they often happen but not everyone is tuned in enough to notice! Jane xx

    1. Actually if you consider probability there's a good chance of coincidences happening from time to time to us all. xx

  5. Your cabinet is fantastic - I don't think star signs come into it, I think projects like that have to be tackled when inspiration strikes. The clock is obviously telling you now is the time! x
