I don't buy much anymore. Even the chazzers aren't being hit these days. It's mostly that I have everything that I want and need. Well, okay since our little trip around the Seven Hills of Lisbon I have been hankering a bit after a e-bike. One would make light work of the slopes around here in South Devon. But that will have to wait.
Most of my non consumable purchases these days are replacements items for things that have worn out or don't cut the mustard in doing what it says on the tin. I've asked my brother to buy me some good quality kitchen tools for my birthday. My fish slice is woeful!
What I bought yesterday from Aldi wasn't an impulse purchase but was planned. My kitchen scales have been missing the reset button for some time and the other day I managed to smash the bowl by dropping it on the floor. I thought this replacement by Crofton when I spotted it in the Specialbuys was just the job. It takes up far less room than conventional kitchen scales. That's it, folded up right in the front of my Tool Turn Around organiser. Now isn't that a clever piece of kit?
