Testing my Pain Thresholds

My swim yesterday afternoon was different from normal and rather exciting.  I  bobbed along the cliff edge from a jetty by the Marine Research Centre, explored  a  U-shaped sea cave and was followed for a bit by a seal.  Yikes!  An alternative to my usual jaunt further was found as I'd have enough of being stung by jellyfish out at sea.    The temperature must be warming up and enticing the critters in.  Don't be alarmed.  No lasting harm was done.   I'll look out for reports of Portuguese Man of War sightings.  Now those big guys can do some serious damage.

Seemingly on a different note I dug my epilator out of a drawer yesterday.  I've decided to start using it as a green measure so that I don't need to buy disposable razors anymore. Ouch!  I'm trying to decide whether the hair removal device or the jellyfish caused the most pain.  I think the epilator wins hands down!

    1. I don't blame you at all! In fact I might become a right royal hypocrite and softie and go back to using them. xx

  2. Don't give up! I've used an electric epilator for about 30 years. It gets easier and easier as the hairs get less. Now I use it only every few months!JanF
